These conceptual works combine text with digital images to create works on paper. The texts are littered with whimsical word-play, multiple coding and self-reference. They are intended to be serious inquiries into the ontology of space, especially digital space. That said, they never take themselves too seriously.

The images are created or some-times selected from a digital animation for visual interest.

Generations of a House was the first of the works offered here. It was done while I was still in school, and was executed with a very early modeling program. Later, I created an animated version.

Inside Klein's Doughnuts I Remembered a New Bottle came about when I discovered the construction of the simplified Klein bottle. I created an animation of a trip through it and designed the text to accompany still images, extracted from that animation, combined with illustrations of its construction.

Of Smoke And Mirrors is mathematical counter history.

I wanted to create a conceptual work from a video of a ride through a virtual city of highly reflective materials, so I added a vehicle, seen almost only in the reflections, extracted stills, and added text for Abducted By Aliens, I Was Flown Through a City Of Mirrors
